At MCP Student Care Centre, we believe that it’s important for children to have the broadest possible opportunities to explore new activities to expand their skills, develop self-confidence and discover new hobbies and passions.  Learning new skills benefits children in the long term. It not only helps them develop confidence and social skills from a young age, but enrichment programs are actually considered critical because the brain is developing so rapidly at this age. Research shows that learning art, music and other enrichment skills can help children excel in many ways.

MCP constantly searching for qualify teachers and partners to conduct high quality enticement program to ensure our students are always stay ahead of their peer in the same age.  They learn skills in a fun way.

Learning Coding With Fun

Teaching children how to code is becoming more commonplace, even in primary schools.

Using robotic toys such as LEGO Mindstorm as a tool for learning coding is a fun challenge. Children will learn about actuators (motors) and a variety of sensors such as sound, ultrasonic, and touch. Then, using the LEGO Mindstorm visual scripting environment and the data collected from the sensors, children will learn how to code a robot.

After meeting with several different companies, MCP Student Care Centre selects a partner to introduce a series of robotic coding programs to the students.

Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age, and it is important for kids to understand and be able to work with the technology around them. Having children learn coding at a young age prepares them for the future. Coding helps children with communication, creativity, math, writing, and self-confidence.

Children start from building and customising their robots and then learn to code increasingly complex tasks such as collision avoidance, and moving and direction control. All tasks require children to balance a combination of speed, agility and intelligence.

The program runs weekly, and our students always look forward to Coding day!

*The classes are conducted in the MCP Student Care Centre, L3 Studio.
